I was outside one evening, on my deck, taking pictures of my potted plants. These fuchsia flowers reside in one of my hanging baskets. Fuchsia flowers are so delicate and pretty. I hope I have done them justice in this photograph.

I consider myself to be primarily a nature and landscape photographer, who also enjoys creating digital art. I live on the west coast of Canada, on the southern tip of beautiful Vancouver Island, and nature provides much of the inspiration for my craft. I am lucky to have many birds and wildlife share my neighbourhood, and I will spend many a happy hour sitting outside with my camera, capturing their antics as they come to visit my yard.
