Sheep rest beside the ancient Avebury Stones in Wiltshire, England. Avebury stone circles are thought to have been constructed in neolithic times between 2500 to 2000 BC. The village of Avebury lies in the heart of the Wiltshire Downs just west of Marlborough - the most ancient borough in England.
I consider myself to be primarily a nature and landscape photographer, who also enjoys creating digital art. I live on the west coast of Canada, on the southern tip of beautiful Vancouver Island, and nature provides much of the inspiration for my craft. I am lucky to have many birds and wildlife share my neighbourhood, and I will spend many a happy hour sitting outside with my camera, capturing their antics as they come to visit my yard. The many birds and deer have become used to seeing that crazy lady sitting on the porch pointing her black box at them, and, as a result, I have been lucky to have captured many of their images as they visit unafraid.
