A young girl sits contemplatively in a yellow boat, which floats in a tranquil body of water reflecting a circular leafless branch overhead. Not knowing where to turn, entangled in uncertainty. The waters beneath are murky and still, and yet there is a golden ray of hope, and she turns her face toward it, and floats on, ever hopeful.

I consider myself to be primarily a nature and landscape photographer, who also enjoys creating digital art. I live on the west coast of Canada, on the southern tip of beautiful Vancouver Island, and nature provides much of the inspiration for my craft. I am lucky to have many birds and wildlife share my neighbourhood, and I will spend many a happy hour sitting outside with my camera, capturing their antics as they come to visit my yard. The many birds and deer have become used to seeing that crazy lady sitting on the porch pointing her black box at them, and, as a result, I have been lucky to have captured many of their images as they visit unafraid.
