"Power in Motion" A lone male orca powers his way through the calm ocean waters. The killer whale is seen just breaching the surface of a calm sea, with its distinctive black fin and the top of his head visible while swimming towards the camera. Photographed while on a whale-watching tour between Victoria, B.C. and San Juan Island.
About Marilyn Wilson
I consider myself to be primarily a nature and landscape photographer, who also enjoys creating digital art. I live on the west coast of Canada, on the southern tip of beautiful Vancouver Island, and nature provides much of the inspiration for my craft. I am lucky to have many birds and wildlife share my neighbourhood, and I will spend many a happy hour sitting outside with my camera, capturing their antics as they come to visit my yard. The many birds and deer have become used to seeing that crazy lady sitting on the porch pointing her black box at them, and, as a result, I have been lucky to have captured many of their images as they visit unafraid.
